First to set the Christmas mood; a tribute to Christmas Trees and ...Me?

The past few days have proven to be very eventful! I've picked up lots of exciting things at the post office and visited stores and spent a hundred million hours in front of the fire place! I couldn't ask for anything more, except snow, and ohh wait, it SNOWED all day today! YES! 

So now Christmas can come. No that it is all about Snow...it happens to be about Jesus but He is the Word that spoke snow into creation..thus Jesus and snow are intimately connected. I think the first coming of Jesus and the first coming of snow which Jesus created are fittingly celebrated together..don't you?

This past week it was also my bruda Colin's Birthday Party and we all went out to the bistro to celebrate. I don't think little Jobean has ever been to a fancy restaurant before and she enjoyed every minute of it. She was ordering shirly temples galore and she got tomato soup and she LOVED it! It was
very cute. It's been forever since our whole family went out to dinner. It was a lovely get together and all our meals were delish! Also we all wore striped dress shirts to match each other...we are cool like that!

A side note: At the bistro they had painting of poppies! I so badly want a painting of poppies or maybe to grow poppies. I really like them. Mum told me she had tried to grow poppies lots and it never worked, which leaves me with little hope because she can grow anything...maybe they will grow better in Ireland?

The last very exciting thing that has occurred is the Nicole Clan reunion. Now I'm sure most of you have no idea what the Nicole Clan is...:
"One night in highschool myself and four of my friends where camping and we all discovered that we had the name Nicole in our names...which a huge shock to us because none of us actually went by Nicole, unless you count Nikki. At this point the five of us always hung out together anyway so that further strengthened the  bonds of the Nicole Clan. We all had nicknames too and eventually we added more people "Excess Weight" and they got nicknames as well. We also had t-shirts and christmas stockings and an annual christmas party.

Gizela messaged us all this Decemeber and suggested that we have a little reunion. So we got together at Nikki's house last evening. If I must say, it was pretty great! Some of us see each other all the time or keep in touch but then some haven't really seen each other in 6 years! So we had some catching up to do detail wise but after that it was pretty much the same as always. I had so much fun and laughed so hard! You know how if you don't see people in a really long time, you can forget to miss them. Well now that I have fresh memories and  re-freshened old memories I'm going to be doing a lot more missing of the Nicole Clan.
One thing was apparent...we are pretty much all grown-ups now....except not really hahah! As it should be!
